MOCK ROUND HAS BEEN DECLARED

મોક રાઉન્ડ જાહેર થયા બાદ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે ખાસ સૂચના 

• આથી વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ખાસ જણાવવાનું કે, મોક રાઉન્ડમાં જે વિદ્યાર્થીઓને પોતાની પસંદગીની કોલેજ મળી નથી એવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ તા.  થી તા.  સુધીમાં પોતાની કોલેજની પસંદગીમાં ફેરફાર કરી શકશે. 

• કોલેજ પસંદગી કરતી વખતે ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટી વેબસાઈટ પર મુકવામાં આવેલ મોક રાઉન્ડના કટઓફમાં પોતાની કેટેગરી પ્રમાણેનું કટઓફ જોઈ કોલેજની પસંદગી કરવી.

• જે વિદ્યાર્થીઓને એક પણ કોલેજની ફાળવણી (એલોટ) થઈ નથી તેવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ખાસ કોલેજ પસંદગી કરતી વખતે ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટી વેબસાઈટ ઉપર મુકવામાં આવેલ મોક રાઉન્ડના કટઓફમાં પોતાની કેટેગરી પ્રમાણેનું કટઓફ જોઈ કોલેજની પસંદગી કરવી.

• આ મોક રાઉન્ડનું રિઝલ્ટ છે. અત્યારે કોઈ વિદ્યાર્થીએ કોલેજ કે યુનિવર્સિટી માં જઈ ઓનલાઈન કે ઓફલાઈન ફી ભરવાની નથી. ફાઇનલ એલોટમેન્ટ રાઉન્ડ પછી ઓનલાઇન ફી ભરવાની રહેશે.

NOTICE FOR PROVISIONAL MERIT LIST

Provisional Merit List has been declared in student login

વિદ્યાર્થીઓ લોગીન કરી પોતાનો પ્રોવીઝનલ મેરીટ નંબર આજ રોજ જોઈ શકશે,  જે વિદ્યાર્થીનું પ્રોવીઝનલ મેરીટ જાહેર ન થયું હોય તેવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ તા. 24/06/2023 તથા તા. 25/06/2023 ના રોજ ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટી ખાતે એડમીશન સેલ ખાતે ( સવારે 11 થી 5 દરમ્યાન ) જરૂરી આધારો સાથે અરજી કરવાની રહેશે.

વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે ખાસ સૂચના

1  ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટી દ્વારા વર્ષ ૨૦૨૩–૨૪ માટે એડમીશન સંપૂર્ણ સેન્ટ્રલાઈઝ પ્રવેશ પ્રક્રિયા પ્રમાણે થશે.

2  ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટી એડમીશન સેલ દ્વારા પ્રવેશ ફક્ત મેરીટના આધારે કરવામાં આવશે તે ખાસ વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ધ્યાનમાં લેવું.

3  વિદ્યાર્થીઓ દ્વારા કોઈપણ ત્રાહિત વ્યક્તિ કે ત્રાહિત સંસ્થાનો એડમીશન માટે સંપર્ક કરવો નહીં. કોઈપણ કોલેજ કે સંસ્થા પોતાની રીતે એડમીશન આપી શકશે નહીં એ ધ્યાને લેવું.

4  ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટી દ્વારા મેરીટ બેઈઝ તમામ વિદ્યાર્થીઓને પ્રવેશમાં સમાવી લેવામાં આવશે.

5  ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટીમાં એડમીશન પ્રક્રિયા સંપૂર્ણ ઓનલાઇન હોવાથી પ્રવેશ પ્રક્રિયા દરમ્યાન કોઈપણ પ્રકારની માહિતી માટે ફક્ત ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટીની વેબસાઈટનો જ ઉપયોગ કરવો.

વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે ફોર્મ વેરીફિકેશન કરાવવાની ખાસ અગત્યની સૂચના

  1. વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે ખાસ સૂચના
  2. CBSC, અન્ય બોર્ડ અને ગુજરાત બોર્ડના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ કે જેમનું પરિણામ આવી ગયું છે તે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ પોતાનું સંપૂર્ણ રજીસ્ટ્રેશન કરી શકશે.

3.માર્ચ 2023 માં ગુજરાત બોર્ડની પરીક્ષા પ્રથમ પ્રયત્ને પાસ કરનાર, જનરલ કેટેગરી (OPEN) ના એવા વિધાર્થીઓ જેમણે બધાં જ વિષયોની પરિક્ષા માર્ચ 2023 માં પાસ કરી છે તેમના રજીસ્ટ્રેશન ફોર્મનું વેરિફિકેશન કોલેજે કરવાનું રહેતું નથી. પરંતુ નીચે જણાવેલ કેટેગરીના વિધાર્થીઓનું ફરજિયાત પણે વેરિફિકેશન કરવાનું રહેશે.

  1. માર્ચ 2023 અગાઉ પાસ થયેલ વિધાર્થીઓ, રિપીટર વિદ્યાર્થીઓ (ગયા વર્ષે નાપાસ થયેલ પરંતુ ચાલુ વર્ષે પાસ થયેલ અને બધાં વિષયની પરીક્ષા ન આપેલ હોય પણ EXEMPTION સિવાયના વિષયોની પરીક્ષા આપેલ હોય.)
  2. B. અનામત કેટેગરીના તમામ વિધાર્થીઓ જેવાં કે SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/PH.
  3. માર્ચ 2023  ગુજરાત બોર્ડ સિવાયના તમામ બોર્ડ ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ (CBSE, ICSE, NIOS વગેરે જેવા)
  4. શારીરિક અક્ષમતા અંગેનું સિવિલ સર્જનનું 40% કે તેથી વધુ અપંગતા અંગેનું પ્રમાણપત્ર ધરાવતા હોય.

Importance of BAJMC Program :

BAJMC (Bachelor of Arts – Journalism and Mass Communication) is a professional course,
introduced by Gujarat University affiliated colleges since the year 2019. This is a three year full
time Professional course, which leads to employment generation along with entrepreneurial
skills in the Graduates. The program offers a vibrant platform for aspiring students to be
promising communicators of tomorrow.


This course gives employment in different verticals of media field viz. Print media, Electronic
media, Radio, Advertising, Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Digital media, Content
Writing, Copy writing, Photography, Cinematography, Podcasting and many more. The passed
out students can also make their startup too and can provide employment to others.

1) National Institute of Mass Communication and Journalism (NIMCJ)

NIMCJ is established in the year 2007 and is affiliated to Gujarat University. NIMCJ offers Mass
Communication and Journalism courses since last 15 years and having vast experience in the field
of media. NIMCJ also having strong background of more than 500 Alumni who are already
working in National and Regional media houses at Senior and mid level positions.


Its PG course 13 batches have been passed out and placed in media industry with almost 98 %
placement ratio. NIMCJ’s 1st BAJMC batch passed out this year in June and 70 % students have
been placed before the Final semester results. Few are having their own startups.

2) Institute of Journalism and Communication (IJC)

To meet the growing demand of Media Industry in the increasingly communication-driven world
by developing required skill sets among Generation-Next Media and Communication
professionals, the 3 yr. Bachelor Degree Program in Journalism and Mass Communication
(BAJMC) was launched at the Institute of Journalism and Communication (IJC)at Chimanbhai Patel
Institute Campus, Ahmedabad in the year 2019. The Institute of Journalism and Communication
(IJC) is affiliated to Gujarat University.


The course is designed to make the aspiring students better media professional by providing
them a conceptual framework of theories and practical exposure. Inclusive grooming of national
as well as international students at the institute makes them feel at home.

Admission Criteria

Any student who has passed the qualifying examination in the 12th Standard prescribed by Gujarat University from any Board can apply for the course.

Instruction for students:

  • The Admission Committee shall, by advertisement in the prominent newspapers widely
    circulated in the State, by web-site or by such other means, as it may consider convenient,
    publish the date of registration, the list of Help Centers, last date for submission of
    registration form, programs offered and such other information as may be necessary.
  •  A student seeking admission shall apply on-line, for the registration of his/her
    candidature, on the web-site, within the time limit specified by the Admission Committee.
  • For the purpose of registration, a student shall be required to make payment of such sum
    total towards the Registration fee, etc. as determined by the Admission Committee.
  • Only after successful payment student, will enter in the admission process and he/she
    can take print out and save the admission form.
  • Where a student has made more than one registrations, the registration made at the later
    stage shall be taken into consideration for admission purpose and the other registration
    shall be treated as cancelled.
  • A repeater, reserved category or other board student shall be required to obtain the print
    out of the registration form and shall sign and submit the same, along with the self attested
    copies of the requisite certificates and testimonials as specified in the
    registration form, at the Help Center/Allotted College. An acknowledgement receipt for
    the same shall be given from the college which is authorized by the Admission Committee.
  • A Student who has passed the qualifying examination from other than Gujarat Board
    and other than CBSE School of out state of Gujarat only shall be required to obtain PEC
    from Gujarat University before registration.
  • A Student who has passed the qualifying examination after appearing in the
    supplementary examination conducted by the Board shall be eligible for admission in
    the current academic year on vacant seats
